Install
Command line
curl -fsSL https://dash.augmunt.com/clauded/install.sh | bash irm https://dash.augmunt.com/clauded/install.ps1 | iex The script does three things only: detect your platform, download the matching binary and verify its sha256, and place it in a user directory (~/.local/bin on macOS / Linux, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\clauded\bin on Windows). No administrator rights required. It does not start the background service and does not touch your shell configuration.
Verify
clauded version If the command is not found, open a new terminal first. If it still is not found, run:
~/.local/bin/clauded install That adds the command to your PATH and registers the background service to start at boot. Same idea on Windows.
The graphical console
The GUI is an optional, on-demand component that does not ship with the CLI:
clauded ui # downloads and installs it on first run, then just opens
clauded ui install # install or update on its own
clauded ui status # which version is installed, and where
clauded ui uninstall # remove the GUI, leaving the CLI untouched macOS and Windows only; on Linux use the command line. See Graphical console.
Update
clauded update --check # only check for a newer version
clauded update # update to the latest The GUI and the CLI are versioned from the same release manifest, so you never end up with a new console on an old client.
Uninstall
clauded uninstall Stops the background service, removes the binary and local state, restores your PATH, and puts your original Claude login back (see Data and restore).
